Last bcp tonight, 3/21/2009

We're getting so excited because I take my last birth control pill tonight. What this means is as soon as I start my cycle, I call the fertility nurse and she will send over the final schedule! We'll also make the appt for Ed to learn how to do injections as well as a retest for the gunk found a couple of months ago.

Woo hoo, we are so ready to get this show on the road. The only thing left to do is buy some m&m's: what Ed'll use every night at 8p to coax me into the kitchen for shots.

Overview of April IVF draft schedule

4/14/09 - Lupron injections start
4/24/09 - Baseline appointment: blood test for Estradiol which will be compared later in the cycle for follicle growth
4/25/09 - Stim medications begin. Menopur and Gonul-f injections; Begin 81mg of Asprin
4/29/09 - Last day for high-impact exercise - yay, at least I'll have an excuse not to.
4/30/09 - Estradiol level blood test @ fertility clinic
5/02/09 - Estradiol level blood test and ultrasound @ clinic; Lupron injections continue; Potential change of stim dosages
5/03/09 - Estradiol level blood test and ultrasound @ clinic
5/04/09 - Egg Retrieval date set & receive instructions and time to take Ovidrel injections
5/06/09 - Most common day for Egg Retrieval; Begin taking Medrol and Antibiotics; Progesterone suppositories begin
5/08 or 5/10/09 - Embryo Transfer will be on one of these days; Light bed rest for 3 total days
5/17 & 5/19/09 - Pregnancy tests
