Ed and I visited with the IVF nurse to learn more about what consists of a cycle including medications and the procedures given along the way. We learned a lot, most of which will be documented as we follow our own journey down our first cycle sometime in next few months. Generally we know we'll have one nurse that will become our lifeline into the process and will follow the day to day activities but also help with self injection lessons, where to get the best deal on the medications, and ensure we march to medication and procedure schedule.
Our immediate steps will mainly include figuring out what IVF plan we'll want to pick and gathering up the funds necessary. It's a mix of excitement and nervousness for Ed and I but hope that like everything else in our life it'll just fall into place.
